Spirals

Complete spirals can be supplied on tubes bored out and fitted with precision stub shafts or machined solid shafting' Special purpose spirals, tapered and or varying pitch, double or triple start, can be supplied to assist material flow as required.

When highly abrasive materials are to be handled, a hard weld deposit process can be applied to the spiral greatly reducing wear and increasing the spiral life span.

Screw Conveyors Ribbon Replacement Spirals

Practical experience has proved time and again that the screw conveyor is a highly effective transmitter, and in the case of many materials is a cheaper, more adaptable and hard-wearing alternative to other forms of conveyor.



Taper and Varying our range of screw conveyors ensure maximum efficiency and durability, and can be manufactured in 'standard', 'dust tight' and 'weather- proof' form. Mild steel and stainless steel conveyor troughing can be produced up to 12mm thick plate, end bearings, hanger bearings, inlet and outlet chutes, motor platforms, cut off-slides, hoppers, inspection covers etc. can be produced according to customer requirements.
